Yes. The vinyl products we install are waterproof, so mopping, spills, and humid air are not a problem. Standing water from a major leak still needs to be dried out and the cause fixed, so call us after any flood or storm event and we can look at the floor and subfloor.
Vinyl is fully waterproof. Laminate has a wood-fiber core and is best in drier rooms. We install both, and our laminate flooring page explains where it makes sense.
Sometimes. It depends on how flat and solid the current floor is. We check during the in-home estimate and tell you honestly whether an overlay will work or whether removal is the better path.
